I'm a paragraph. Click here to add your own text and edit me. It's easy.
I grew up in Northern New Jersey, and attended the University of Hartford, where I graduated from with both a BS and MA in Early Childhood Education.
I lived in Connecticut for a few years after I graduated, then eventually moved back to New Jersey, got my NJ Teaching Certification, and I taught Kindergarten for a few years until having my children.
My son Ryan, my not-so-little boy anymore is now a freshman at Syracuse University, living the best life an 18 year old could have!

My daughter Sydney.....my Sydney has special needs. So beautiful and so strong. Sydney suffered 3 strokes as an infant, and has tremendous delays, but her brain is learning to make new connections everyday. She's now 15 years old.

Sydney is very smart, and very funny, and has a sense of humor like her Mama.
Sydney's moving along at her own pace; which is really what any parent can hope for.

Like many parents of special needs children, I am divorced.
Life changes ALL the time! Maybe more so to parents whose child/children aren't so 'typical'.
